San Juan Regional Spine Center offers a comprehensive spine, neck and back program - total spine care - guided by skilled neurosurgeons, interventional pain specialists, and highly trained physical therapists.
We offer minimally invasive spine surgery. It is a type of surgery on the bones of your spine (backbone). This type of surgery uses smaller incisions than standard surgery. This often causes less harm to nearby muscles and other tissues. It can lead to less pain and faster recovery after surgery. Learn more about this procedure.
We use the least invasive treatments in order to restore maximum function. By offering a full range of diagnostic and treatment services, each patient receives a customized course of treatment designed to improve your quality of life.
Video: When Jenilee Rowse began experiencing shooting nerve pain down her leg, she could barely walk. She couldn't leave the house to enjoy the man activities she loves to do with her family. She consulted with an out-of-state practice but felt unhappy with her options, so she turned to the experts at San Juan Regional Spine Center. Within minutes of meeting trusted neurosurgeon Dr. Dominic Cannella, she knew he was the doctor for her. Today, Jenilee is back to being active with her family. "I felt relief after surgery immediately. It was the first time in several months I hadn't had any nerve pain and I haven't had any since."
Video: After a fall at the family's home in Durango, Colorado, Dylan Foreman's situation turned into a life-threatening emergency. Dylan needed a neurosurgeon immediately. "I thought for sure I was headed to Albuquerque, Grand Junction or Denver. I thought I’d be away from my family,” he said with wife Christy at his side. He was taken by ambulance to San Juan Regional Medical Center, home to the region’s only neurosurgeons where they met Dr. Dominic Cannella of San Juan Regional Spine Center. "The level of care was phenomenal", said Christy Foreman."

Some visits, including any that require immunizations or screenings, will need to be done in person, while others may be able to be conducted via phone call or video visit.
