2024 AHA and ENA Classes

San Juan Regional Medical Center is offering several American Heart Association and Emergency Nurses Association classes for members of our clinical community. These include full certification courses as well as renewal courses with a variety of dates to choose from in 2024. The classes include:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - this course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR.

Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course - designed to help nurses learn core-level pediatric knowledge and the psychomotor skills needed to positively affect patient outcomes in Emergency Departments. 

Pediatric Advance Life Support - for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high performance team dynamics and high quality individual skills. 

Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum - learn a standardized, systematic and organized approach to assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of a trauma patient in an acute setting.

AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Program: This comprehensive course, led by our instructor, Barbie Duckett, is designed to enhance your knowledge and interpretation of fetal heart rate tracings, empowering you to make informed clinical decisions throughout pregnancy. This course offers valuable insights for clinicians who have completed a basic FHM course and who utilize FHM in the intrapartum setting. Class will be held on April 18, 2024. Learn more.
