Advanced Heart Care

Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI (V6) Certification

For cardiovascular emergencies, including signs and symptoms of a heart attack, rapid treatment saves lives. We offer advanced, evidence-based heart care as a full Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI V6 Accreditation from the American College of Cardiology.

Our team performs percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) as the primary treatment for acute heart attacks, enabling patients to receive immediate care in our cardiac catheterization lab. This approach helps reduce damage to the heart muscle and improves outcomes for patients experiencing serious cardiac events.

Advanced Stroke Care

Immediate Response. Advanced Intervention. Faster Recovery.

When stroke is suspected, every minute is crucial. At the moment a patient arrives with stroke symptoms, our team initiates a “stroke alert” – coordinating specialists and diagnostic services simultaneously to accelerate treatment and improve outcomes.

We are equipped to respond quickly to a full spectrum of stroke-related emergencies and ensure patients receive the fastest possible intervention.

Pre-Hospital Care and Transport Excellence

If you need emergency transport, our EMS and AirCare teams deliver exceptional care long before arrival at the Emergency Department.

  • San Juan Regional Medical Center EMS is the only EMS service in New Mexico to receive the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline® EMS Gold Plus Award for excellence in treating severe heart attacks.
  • AirCare, our air ambulance service, is CAMTS accredited, meeting rigorous standards for safety, training, and clinical excellence.
