Healthy Living with Diabetes
As a part of our commitment to build a healthier community, we are offering FREE diabetes education services and group classes. Classes meet once a week for four weeks and cover a wide-range of diabetes topics, or you might prefer to meet individually with a certified diabetes educator to discuss and problem-solve a specific issue. Diabetes classes can cover:
- Healthy eating
- Carbohydrate counting
- Blood glucose testing and pattern analysis
- Exercising and other forms of movement
- Foot care
- Learning about medication
- Avoiding complications
Learn more about diabetes, tips on how to feel better, and how making small changes can have a big impact on your quality of life. Diabetes education is your first step to living well.
