San Juan Regional Internal Medicine Residency program participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Applications are only accepted and reviewed through ERAS. We view each applicant holistically.

Information for International Graduates
We accept international graduates and sponsor J-1 visas. The ideal IMG applicant has graduated within the past 5 years and has at least one year of clinical experience practicing direct patient care in the United States.
We will view applicants holistically; however, strong applicants will have a USMLE Step 2 CK score of 230 or more and/or a COMLEX Level 2-CE score of 500 or more.
