Physicians
Jason C. Lucas, DO

Jason C. Lucas, DO

Dr. Lucas received his undergraduate and masters degree from Brigham Young University. He received his Doctor Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas in 1998. He graduated as senior class president. He completed an internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in 2003. He completed a sports medicine, shoulder, and knee fellowship at LA Orthopedics in 2004.

Dr. Lucas is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is an associate fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Tyson Christensen, MD

Tyson Christensen, MD

Dr. Christensen first earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Weber State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, in which he was elected as a senior member of the alpha omega alpha (AOA) honor society. Following medical school, Dr. Christensen completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in 2019. During residency, he researched both sports and joint replacement problems published in the prestigious journals the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS) and the American Journal of Sports Medicine (AJSM). He recently completed specialized training in sports medicine at the Lake Tahoe Sports Medicine Fellowship.

Dr. Christensen is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the American Academy of Orthopedics (AAOS) and is Board Eligible for the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). When he isn’t working, he can be found with his wife and three kids playing at ball fields, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying each other’s company.

Clifford Goldthorpe, DO

Clifford Goldthorpe, DO

Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Goldthorpe spent his youth enjoying the mountains, skiing, and competing in water polo and swimming. He went on to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, where he earned degrees in Exercise Science and Business Management before completing medical school at Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale. After finishing his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Mountainview Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, he became a board-certified orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Goldthorpe has served our country as an orthopedic surgeon in the United States Air Force since 2012. He comes to the Four Corners from Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons. In his free time, Dr. Goldthorpe enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids. They love hiking, mountain biking and anything outdoors involving the mountains or water.

Adam Crandall Johnson, MD

Adam Crandall Johnson, MD

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience in 2002. He completed medical school training at the University of Michigan Medical School, graduating in 2006. He then spent one year at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for General Surgery internship before moving back to Michigan for Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Michigan State University / Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He finished residency in 2011. He completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University of New Mexico in 2012.

His areas of specialty include arthroscopy and sports medicine, in addition to total joint replacement, fracture care, and general orthopaedics. He is trained in the newest techniques for the arthroscopic and open management of knee and shoulder injuries, including ACL tears, meniscal tears, patellar instability, rotator cuff tears, and shoulder instability.

Jaren La Greca, MD

Jaren La Greca, MD

Jaren LaGreca, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon with expertise treating a wide variety of injuries involving the shoulder, hip, and knee. As a lifelong athlete, Dr. LaGreca understands the adversity and hardship associated with injury and is devoted to helping patients return to their prior activity levels and passions in life.

Dr. LaGreca has had the privilege of treating both professional and elite college athletes – including the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL), Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL), University of Pittsburgh Men’s Soccer (NCAA Div. 1), and Carnegie Mellon University Football (NCAA Div. 3). He has continued his enthusiasm for supporting athletics in the Farmington area by providing medical coverage for local teams. From professional to high school athletes, and every stage in between, Dr. LaGreca recognizes the importance of developing a unique treatment approach to help each patient achieve their future goals.

Diandra Coral Becenti, PA

Diandra Coral Becenti, PA

Coral grew up in Farmington, and has always been interested in medicine. She graduated from Farmington High School, where she excelled in athletics, and also worked as a student athletic trainer. Coral obtained a BS in Psychology at the University of Maryland in Okinawa, Japan, and then attended the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, NM, where she graduated with a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies.

Coral recently moved back to her hometown of Farmington to be near to most of her extended family. She enjoys the fact that her week consists of both working in the office seeing patients and helping in surgery. She is a member of AAPA, PAOS, AAIP and AISES.

Tanner Foster, PA

Tanner Foster, PA

Tanner grew up in Fort Collins, CO, enjoying the beautiful outdoors. He attended college at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He discovered a passion for medicine while working as a nurse aide (CNA) for a home health agency during his senior year.

Tanner moved to Knoxville, TN, in 2022, where he completed his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at South College. He discovered a love for orthopedic care during his clinical rotation in sports medicine.

Spencer Halvorson, PA

Spencer Halvorson, PA

Spencer Halvorson PA-C, completed his master's degree in physician assistant studies at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. Prior to that he had graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from Boise State University. He is originally from Boise, Idaho but wanted a change of pace after graduating from PA school.

He places an emphasis on conservative treatment over surgical management for the spectrum of orthopedic conditions. Additionally, he prefers a multi-model approach to pain management in an attempt to tackle pain control from all angles.

Mathew Southwick, PA

Mathew Southwick, PA

Mathew T. Southwick, PA-C, completed a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson-Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho, with a major in biology and minor in chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Ever since he took his first anatomy and physiology class in high school, Mat has shown a passion for medicine and the human body. He developed an enthusiasm for orthopedics during his clinical rotations in graduate school. He enjoys working with patients to help them understand their illnesses and develop the best treatment course for them.
