San Juan Regional Health

San Juan College (SJC) and San Juan Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) are proud to partner in this collaborative effort to strengthen our local healthcare workforce by increasing the number of nursing graduates and faculty in our community. Generous funding from SJRMC is supporting SJC’s recruitment efforts of additional full-time nursing faculty members who will receive a $10,000 annual stipend on top of their base salary to enhance the program’s capacity. In addition, recruitment efforts are ongoing to bring more nursing students into the program, ensuring a steady stream of well-trained professionals entering the workforce. These students will have an opportunity to enter into an agreement with SJRMC to receive a substantial $4,800 living stipend per semester, allowing them to focus on their education while preparing for rewarding careers in nursing.
