Tuesday, March 31, 2026 San Juan Regional Medical Center Earns American Heart Association All-Star Recognition

San Juan Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that we are part of the very first group of American Heart Association Training Centers to earn the prestigious American Heart Association All-Star Recognition.

This distinction is no small achievement. Our Training Center has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the American Heart Association’s mission by consistently delivering high-quality CPR education, following Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Guidelines, and elevating the standard of lifesaving training.

“San Juan Regional Medical Center has set the bar for what it means to operate an exemplary American Heart Association Training Center,” said Myra Robinson, National VP for the American Heart Association. “Your dedication to delivering quality training has elevated the skills, confidence, and readiness of those you teach – shaping a safer, more prepared community.”

“This recognition represents much more than a certificate; it symbolizes the real-world impact our caregivers make every day. Through training, they enhance confidence, improve readiness, and empower learners with the skills that save lives, improving patient outcomes and care quality,” said SJRMC President and CEO Jason Rounds.

San Juan Regional Medical Center offers training to our own caregivers as well as members of the greater clinical community. A list of training courses can be found online at https://www.sanjuanregional.com/clinical-classes and include:

  • Heart Saver Pediatric CPR AED First-Aid

San Juan Regional Medical Center is the only Level III Trauma Center in Farmington, providing lifesaving care for our surrounding communities in the Four Corners area. We are grateful to receive the All-Star Training Center recognition that reflects the hard work of our instructors to ensure the highest standard of emergency care.
