This class invites anyone who is concerned about falling, especially older adults, to learn how to manage falls and increase activity levels. This award-winning program teaches participants to view their falls as controllable, set realistic goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home and exercise to increase their strength and balance. If you are concerned about falls, want to improve your balance flexibility and strength, have fallen in the past, or are restricted in your activities because of falling concerns, this class is for you. There are eight classes in the series, held from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Mondays in September, October, and November at San Juan Regional Rehabilitation Hospital located at 525 South Schwartz Avenue.
