SJRMC to Offer External Assessments by Appointment Only
San Juan Regional Medical Center will continue its efforts to help our community navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic while complying with stay at home and social distancing orders by offering by appointment only external assessments starting next week.
If you are experiencing cold and flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, body aches, sore throat and runny nose, you are encouraged to call our COVID-19 screening line Monday through Friday at 505.675.4722 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to speak to a registered nurse. If deemed necessary, an appointment will be set up for patients to drive through and be evaluated at our external assessment area. Please note that having an appointment doesn’t necessarily mean you will get tested for COVID-19. During your evaluation the provider performing the assessment will make that final determination.
Remember that the battle to stop this virus is in the hands of everyday people. Each of us has the power to flatten the curve and save lives by heeding advice to stay at home whenever possible, following social distancing recommendations, wearing a mask in public and practicing good hand hygiene. These things are simple but they work and help protect you and others.
