Wednesday, May 31, 2023 Help San Juan Regional Medical Center Prioritize Our Community’s Top Health Needs

San Juan Regional Medical Center invites members of our community to join us at the Farmington Museum on Thursday, June 15 to hear the results of our Community Health Needs Assessment Survey and provide valuable input to help us prioritize our community’s top health needs.

As part of our strategic planning process, the SJRMC Community Health Needs Assessment is conducted every three years with input and perspectives from our community stakeholders to assure that we are continuing to meet community needs. We partner with PRC, an expert in conducting Community Health Needs Assessments, to gather data to provide us with a clear picture of the health disparities and needs and what they mean for our community. The 2023 assessment was conducted in March and April, and includes county-level and census data, along with customized local health surveys via phone and online surveys with key informants who serve the public. The goal is to determine what the top needs of our community currently are, and which ones need to be addressed first.

“San Juan Regional Medical Center was founded more than 100 years ago to meet community need and ensure that our friends and neighbors could get the quality care they deserved right here at home. We are proud to continue this important work today by continually asking for our community’s input and reassessing and addressing the top health needs,” said President and CEO Jason Rounds.

Once we receive input to prioritize the needs, we will create a task force committed to addressing each of the needs with actionable steps to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
