Wednesday, June 4, 2025 Save Lives: Participate in San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Blood Drive

San Juan Regional Medical Center encourages our community to help save lives by donating blood. We are hosting a blood drive on Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10 to help lessen the continuing critical need for blood. Just one donation can save up to three lives. The drive will be held at San Juan Regional Medical Center on the main floor of the hospital. Appointments are preferred and only take 15 minutes. Walk-ins are welcome. To sign up:

Monday, June 9: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday, June 10: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

We are accepting two types of blood donations at this event:

  1. The traditional one pint of whole blood.
  2. The Power Red (double red) donation, which takes about 15 minutes longer and collects a concentrated donation of red cells that can help twice as many patients.

Donors must be at least 18 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. For more information, visit https://vitalant.org/. We encourage anyone eligible to donate to make an appointment to help us reach our goal of donating 53 pints.
