Monday, January 30, 2023 San Juan Regional Medical Center Extends Main Entrance Hours

San Juan Regional Medical Center is extending hours at our main entrance. Starting today, our main entrance will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. weekdays. The doors previously closed at 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. On weekends, the main entrance hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Keeping the main entrance closed after hours improves the security of our patients and caregivers and gives our patients time to focus on their sleep during designated quiet hours, an important part of the healing process. The main entrance closure also helps security officers to improve their responses overnight and allows our caregivers to focus on our patients- our first and most important priority.

Visiting hours at San Juan Regional Medical Center are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Patients are allowed one overnight visitor. Anyone staying overnight can enter the hospital via the main entrance until 7:00 p.m. After that, they will need to use the Emergency Department entrance where a security guard is staffed overnight. Visitors will still be able to exit through the main entrance doors during the overnight hours; they just won’t be able to reenter the building through the main doors.
