He provided a resolution passed by the City Council recognizing the healthcare professionals and caregivers at San Juan Regional Medical Center for the “bravery, commitment, purpose and passion given to patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Patients now have more options when they need outpatient laboratory services. San Juan Regional Medical Center is extending laboratory testing at the main hospital outpatient laboratory to include Sundays. 

The Gold Plus Award is the highest recognition awarded by the American Heart Association, given to EMS Departments for implementing quality improvement measures to treat patients who experience severe heart attacks.
