Thursday, January 21, 2021 San Juan Regional Medical Center Offering Group for New Moms

You took the classes, delivered your baby, now what? San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Childbirth Center is here to offer continued support to new moms with our brand new “Mommy and Me Meet Up,” a group class for postpartum moms.

This is a weekly opportunity to meet with other local moms and find support in a relaxed, informal setting. Topics covered during these sessions include any questions moms encounter after the birth of their baby, including:

·         Breastfeeding support

·         The Fourth Trimester

·         Postpartum self-care

·         Newborn and infant development and milestones

·         Parent and infant engagement

·         Sleeping and eating (for you and baby!)

·         Mom and me movement

Classes are offered at no charge, compliments of San Juan Regional Medical Center. They will meet Friday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. virtually via Zoom for four weeks. The first session will start on Friday, February 5, 2021. To join this group and get a link to the virtual meeting room, please email Alicia Jaramillo at adicker@sjrmc.net.
