San Juan Regional Health

San Juan Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the 2023/2024 Board of Directors, approved by our Corporation members.    

Dr. Daniel Mannas is now serving as Chief of Staff. Dr. Mannas is a urologist at San Juan Health Partners Urology. He replaces Dr. Bradley Scoggins of San Juan Health Partners Pediatrics, who served on the board as Chief of Staff in 2022 and Vice Chief of Staff in 2021. Dr. David Devitre, Hospitalist at San Juan Regional Medical Center, is now serving in the Vice Chief of Staff position.             

The corporation renewed Sam Gonzales, who represents Hills Church, for his second three-year term. He will continue in the position of Board Chair with Shaña Reeves, who represents the City of Farmington, serving as Vice Chair. Immediate Past Chair Sherry Galloway, who represents the Farmington Rotary, has made the decision to step down from the board following two three-year terms.

“As a lifelong resident of Farmington, Sherry is a true example of what it means to give back to the community. Her six years on the Board included two years serving as Board Chair during the pandemic. Her dedication to our community’s health during such a critical time is to be commended,” said Board Chair Gonzales.  

“We are grateful to Sherry and Dr. Scoggins for generously sharing their time and expertise in service to our Board of Directors,” said John Mayer, Chief Financial Officer and Acting Administrator of San Juan Regional Medical Center. “As a community owned and operated hospital, we couldn’t carry out our mission without the dedicated service of our Board. Thank you for your commitment to improving healthcare in the Four Corners.”

San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Corporation is unique in its structure. Community members representing non-profit organizations in San Juan County make up the general corporation membership, which elects the Board of Directors. These individuals represent the voice of the community and provide guidance and leadership to the hospital.
