Friday, December 11, 2020 San Juan Health Partners Opens Indoor Respiratory Clinic

San Juan Health Partners, a division of San Juan Regional Medical Center, is now offering patients experiencing respiratory symptoms a dedicated indoor respiratory clinic. The clinic is located at 735 West Animas Street in Farmington in the old San Juan Oncology Associates building. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This clinic is for scheduled, routine pediatric and adult healthcare appointments for patients who have active respiratory/COVID symptoms. These patients had previously been seen in an outdoor respiratory drive-through setting to ensure they received prompt care while reducing the chances of exposing anyone inside the clinic. Now that the weather is colder, we are moving the clinic indoors for the comfort and safety of our patients and caregivers.

If you or your children are exhibiting respiratory symptoms, call your San Juan Health Partners clinic as you normally would to schedule an appointment. Please make sure to tell the customer service representative that you have respiratory symptoms so an appointment can be set up for you at the indoor respiratory clinic.

Symptoms that warrant a visit to our indoor respiratory clinic include:

· Temperature of 100.4F or above

· Coughing

· Shortness of breath

· Chills

· Muscle pain

· Headache

· Sore throat

· New loss of taste or smell

If you or your child has been in contact with a COVID-19 positive patient in the last two weeks, have been contacted by the CDC or DOH or placed under a self-quarantine for COVID-19, or if you have traveled by air in the last two weeks, you will be seen at the indoor respiratory clinic. The goal is to meet our community needs and assess our patients away from others to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
