Thursday, June 2, 2022 San Juan Regional Medical Center Announces Summer Schedule for Childbirth Preparation Classes

If you or someone you know is expecting a baby, now’s the perfect time to sign up for San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Childbirth Preparation Series classes.

These all-encompassing classes are offered free of charge to expectant mothers and their birth partners as a community benefit. As your community owned and operated hospital, we are committed to providing the support and education expecting parents need to make sure your baby gets the best start in life.

The classes explore a variety of topics and address top concerns new parents have, from the basics of a healthy pregnancy to preparing for labor, birth and beyond. Our Baby Friendly® experts partner with new families to emphasize whole person care, which includes the physical and emotional challenges of labor and delivery to what a new mom might experience postpartum.

The next series of classes is an accelerated series, held Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon on June 18 and June 25 in the Childbirth Classroom at San Juan Regional Medical Center. To register, visit: https://www.sanjuanregional.com/creg/june-2022-childbirth-class

July’s classes begin July 9 and will run for four weeks. Check out the schedule and register here: https://www.sanjuanregional.com/creg/july-2022-childbirth-class.

A third series, also four weeks total, will be held in August: https://www.sanjuanregional.com/creg/august-2022-childbirth-class.

You may bring one support person with you to the class, but please only register one person per family. Masks are required for the health and safety of everyone. We look forward to meeting you soon and being a part of your family’s journey to parenthood.
