San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Childbirth Center is pleased to announce four new classes are joining our robust lineup of courses designed to meet the diverse needs of new and expecting parents. All Childbirth Center classes are offered free of charge by of San Juan Regional Medical Center, your community owned and operated hospital. 

Just for Dads

  • Learn essential baby care skills with hands-on practice changing diapers, holding a baby and helping out with baby’s care at home
  • How to comfort and support your partner through pregnancy, labor and delivery

Type 1 Diabetes and Pregnancy

Healthy Pregnancy Series

  • Intended for women before getting pregnant or in the first trimester, although all expecting parents are welcome.
  • This 3-part class addresses what is happening to mom and baby during each trimester, goes into depth on nutrition and healthy practices in pregnancy, staying active and getting ready for baby
