A Fair of the Heart

Run, walk, eat healthy, play, laugh and fall in love with your heart during National Heart Month. San Juan Regional Medical Center and San Juan Regional Cardiology are teaming up to give your heart something to smile about on Valentine's Day. Let's make this the beginning of a beautiful relationship between you and your heart.
Events are free of charge.
Goose Bump Walk/Run
Events: One mile walk or three mile run
Start time: 11 am
Starting line: The parking lot of San Juan Regional Cardiology, 407 S. Schwartz
Registration deadline: February 10 to receive an official Goose Bump t-shirt
Register by calling 327-2271.
All registrants should arrive by 10:30 to check in, sign release and receive their t-shirt. Late registrants may register up until 10:00am the day of the event, but they will not receive a t-shirt. The events will be timed, and an IPOD Nano, a sports watch and a gift card will be awarded.

Health Fair
Join us at 1pm at the San Juan Regional Cardiology offices at 407 S. Schwartz for a health fair focusing on the heart. We will have blood pressure screenings, cardiac health screenings (including baseline EKG), educational materials, nutrition and diet information, physician talks, fitness products and coupons for a free cholesterol screening (this is not a full cholesterol panel, but it will provide you with your total cholesterol number).

Get a Low-Cost Cholesterol Panel
During the entire month of February you may obtain a full cholesterol panel for only $15. These tests will be done on a walk-in basis at:

Please fast for 12 hours before the test and drink lots of water.
