Wound Treatment Center

Wound Care is a specialized service created for, and entirely dedicated to, the treatment of acute/chronic wounds on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. These severe wounds, the result of burns, trauma, post-surgical complications, infections, abscesses, ulcers or other causes, are often difficult to treat and require a high degree of specialized care. This care is provided by the Wound Care team of physicians, nurses, physical therapists and wound care technicians.

Wound Care also provides ostomy care and education, education programs that address prevention of ulcers, and instruction on daily wound care. These education programs are provided for patients and patients' families.
